Cookie Policy

Last updated: January 1, 2026 · Version: 1.0.0

1. Scope

This policy applies to the corporate site sociosplus.la. The mobile app does not use advertising or tracking cookies; it only uses local browser storage to keep the member's session.

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They remember information about your visit (language, sign-in state, etc.), measure aggregate usage or serve personalized content. First-party cookies are set by the site you visit; third-party cookies by other domains whose resources load on the page.

3. Cookies used by sociosplus.la

Name Origin Purpose Category Duration
wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* sociosplus.la Keep the administrator/editor session of the corporate site. Strictly necessary Session / 1 year
_ga, _ga_QXTHEXQ1MR Google Analytics 4 Measure aggregate traffic and page views on the corporate site (not the app). Analytics Up to 2 years
_gcl_au Google Ads Measure ad campaign performance for the corporate site. Not used inside the app. Advertising (measurement) Up to 90 days
sp-country, sp-lang (localStorage) sociosplus.la Remember your country/language choice on legal pages. Preferences Persistent until manually cleared

4. Third-party cookies

We load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (conversion measurement) scripts only on the corporate site. Cookies are managed by Google LLC — see policies.google.com/privacy.

5. How to accept or refuse cookies

  • On first visit, we display a banner with two equally weighted buttons: "Accept analytics cookies" and "Reject". Neither is preselected.
  • You may change your decision at any time by clearing cookies from your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge all offer privacy settings).
  • You may install the official Google Analytics opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you refuse analytics and advertising cookies, the site continues to work; only aggregate statistics are no longer measured.

6. Cookies in the mobile app

The app does not use advertising, tracking cookies or third-party SDKs. The WebView only stores:

  • Your authentication token while signed in.
  • Local language and theme preferences.

Signing out or uninstalling the app clears this storage.

7. Changes to this policy

If the list of cookies is updated, the new version will be published at this URL and the header date updated.
